Elementary Specialist Handbook

The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics heavily promoted The Elementary Mathematics Specialists Handbook which it published in November 2013. The Handbook was the product of the Virginia Mathematics Specialist Initiative and features chapters authored by more than 25 Virginia teachers, mathematics specialists, school leaders and university faculty. The handbook was edited by Coalition members/staff Aimee Ellington, Vickie Inge and Bill Haver as well as Pat Campbell who has conducted research on the impact of Mathematics Specialists in Virginia schools.
